Long time no blog, i didnt even know of changes to Blogger sia... Anyway, not staying here for long as im having my 7th and 8th A-lvl papers tmw. Econs and Chem... It's quite boring to look through all the notes again and again.... Here's a walk through the 2nd week of Nov where we had 6 papers in 4 days consecutively. GP and Maths have ended!!!!

Gosh, how relieved i was when GP was finally over!!!! I feared GP the most!!! I decided to strike off each paper taken already and record it down to mark it as a signficant event of my life!!!

Sianz, i really wished that Alvl can just finish in 2 weeks sia!!! We only have 8 official exam dates but its dragging over 8th Nov to 1st Dec!!!! 3 weeks!!!! ARGH~~~This is our tower of paper, ready for recycling. I STRONGLY OBJECT TO BURNING TO RELEASE CO2!!!!

This is a super touching song which totally made me tear non-stop while watching the most touching part of the drama. I finished Secret Garden in 3 days and really feel so so super worth it to watch. I must really rank this as the best drama of my year. Seriously, it can make you cry as badly as watching Stairways and can also make me laugh and smile non-stop throughout... Gosh, strong and outstanding cast plus such a well-written script and story plot, it must have obtained a lot of daesang awards last year ba... Hmmm.... i really do have high ratings for the drama. GO WATCH IF YOU HAVENT!!!!

Btw, the original song was 그여자 by Baek Ji Young... Both equally touching cos Baek Ji Young really can sing super well and the male version was sung by Hyun Bin. Arh~~~ I really liked him in the drama!!!!

Photos of DH premiere in NY

I cried super badly during the last last movie which was released on 14th July 2011. Gosh... I have watched twice and during the second time with Joanna again, i cried even before Snape died cos i knew when that part was coming. It was really a super duper touching plot which never fails to bring out my tears whether it is in the book or in the movie. Hmmm... im considering to watch it again on Harry/JK Rowling's birthday, marking it as a celebration i hope. The final movie of the Harry Potter franchise!!! Rest assured, even though the movie series has ended, the legend and the fantasy within the book will last forever. It has been a major part of my childhood and will always be!!!!

"You have your mother's eyes" was really the triggering sentence which set me gasping for air as tears just flowed out non-stop. It's really memorable....

Updates? hahaz, IM TOTALLY FANATIC OVER LEEMINHO'S CITY HUNTER AND WAITING FOR THE RELEASE OF HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2

The day of release, which is next thursday, will be the official end of my childhood. Since primary school, harry potter has really been with me through all the bright, sunny and dark gloomy days of my life. Gosh, i've seriously done a lot of strange and unbelievable stuffs about Harry Potter.... Hahaz, i have reference books like... a spell book, a name book, a candy book and a quill book... and a book book. Hahaz, everything is written inside this small little red notebook of mine and i seriously miss the times i were doing all this... hahaz, i have done weirder stuffs.... but i dun think it would be appropriate to express it publicly. Well, nothing strange strange but it just doesnt seem to be me who would do such stuffs so i think people around me will be shocked, not surprised.

Anyway, i have folded marauder's map too, following instructions from websites, and visited others who teach you how to make liquorice candy and pumpkin cupcakes. Well, those dont sound delicious to me but im just super fascinated by the remarkable world created by a sole person... JK Rowling. Hahaz, her personal story does inspire indirectly through the ideas she wishes to convey through Harry Potter. Hahaz, i may have a hard time crying in the cinema while watching the end of the movie franchise but it is definitely not the end of my Harry Potter enjoyment. Hahaz, see one of the aims at the left side of my blog??? See Orlando, Florida??? When i get rich, i bet that would be one of the places i would go, have fun, take all the rides, drink and buy as many Butterbeers i want (if they are nice) and spend as much as i want in the Zonko Joke Shop :P

Meanwhile, im falling for Minho once again, after BOF. Hahaz, i just cant say how much I love his appearance in City Hunter... Gosh, i really do love his transformation!!!! Argh!!!! hahaz, meanwhile, im waiting for my bro to come home to watch City Hunter too!!! I didnt wanna watch at this period and totally resisted the temptation for super long until last saturday when my bro decided to watch himself. I said "No!!!" and told him to wait for me to finish studying first but he insisted on watching. So, i told him to wait till nighttime when i have prepared for BT2 and we'll watch together. Ever since then, we've been watching every night without fail. Last night, the show was super exciting that we chiong 3 episodes in the evening till night lor!!!

He's seriously my ideal guy, with the well, beyond ideal height... hahaz :P Im really getting heart attacks becos of his character and yesterday, i was super 心痛 for him during the show. Well, he was shot on the right shoulder but to hide his identity. He had to bear with the pain despite others' behaviours which would cause him pain at the right shoulder. I watch le super super 心痛 for him. That proves how well he performed right???

Meanwhile.... Chem.... im devastated by the number of careless mistakes i have made. Not happy with this score and i will definitely not allow this during prelims.... JIAYOU!!!

Gosh, i have less than an hour to blog about everything that had happened lately. Well, inclusive of the TAG attachment which ended in Thurs. Finally, but sadly. Hahaz, if not for H3 exam today and SAT tmw, i would love love love to enjoy TAG for a week long, or maybe longer. Well, i was elated to hear that we could continue with them after As. Just have to write in to them and perhaps request for a transfer to other departments to take a look at what others do. Hahaz :P

Anyway, on Wednesday, it was the most exciting part of the whole TAG for me. Anni and I went for OT the whole morning till 1.30pm. There, we watched Dr Harold, Dr Shirish, Dr Li Hao and a few other senior doctors perform surgeries like removal of tonsils and repair of ear drum and 3 unique bones within the ear. Although we couldnt stay till the very end of the last two surgeries, i felt really fortunate to be able to view the whole process by the surgery table.

As seen from dramas, we changed into a green surgery suits and wore yellow caps to distinguish ourselves as "medical student". Stepping into OT for the very first time, i was all so excited and curious about everything, heart rate and pulse monitor, the surgery tables, the sterilised equipment, the drawer full of antibiotics, the closet full of new sterilised equipments, the headlight above the doctors at the surgery table... Everything was just fascinating!!!! Hahaz, i really felt like a little kid venturing into an unknown land full of unfamiliar sights. How rare is this chance to be able to watch doctors perform surgeries right before you!!! Gosh, its totally a once in a lifetime to do so, well, if i couldnt make it to medical school...

First two surgeries were tonsillectomy, otherwise known as removal of tonsils from the mouth. It's an organ, situated close to the uvula, at the 2 sides of our mouths. I believe that they do not have any apparent functions and someone told me that they are like our appendix (like as implied, "extra". hahaz :P) At times, they would swell up and perhaps even block the opening down to our throat. That's why patients have to remove it through operation. Well, a doctor did ask me if i wanted to remove them since they are sort of "useless". Hahaz, i dun see the point of doing that yet... Anyway, yeah, the first surgery was bloody as Dr Shirish explained that the patient is bleeding more than usual in his mouth cavity. The second was quite fast and clean.

I have learnt quite a fair amount of things during OT. The doctors were super friendly and guided us well in understanding what was going on or what they were trying to doing. For instance, during the second surgery, a doctor came up to us and explained that the operating doctor was trying to find for "a plane of tissues" situated around the tonsils to minimise blood loss. He then further elaborated that for most of the organs in our bodies, there would always be a plane of tissues surrounding them. As such, during operations, doctors would try to locate these sites before operating to remove the organs. This way, they can minimise blood loss.

I have also witnessed how doctors handle with a broken blood vessel or how they actually cut through tissues. In the past, they would use "cold steel", which meant that they actually do use sterilised blades to cut through the patients' skins and tissues. This was proven to significant reduce post-op pains. However, now, advanced tech allowed them to use electric knives (layman term for me) to slice through tissues. It was super exciting for me cos they actually do use electricity during operation (which reminded me why one of the doctors in the MO clinic advised the patient to remove his braces before ops). This also explained the reason why i smelt burnt smells during the operation, rather than those strong sterilised smell we expected.

Yupyup, speaking of which, OTs do not smell "sterilised" with like those strong antiseptic or alcohol smells as we would expect. Hahaz, the environment was very different than what we perceived. Perhaps it was because of the kind of surgeries carried out. Hahaz, dun worry, we were not allowed to touch the patients at all cos we werent wearing gloves then. Wait, we arent medical students so we just stood by the surgery table to view everything while being out of the nurses' ways.

The third and fourth ear surgeries were even more exciting (though a doctor told me that nose surgery would be more fascinating for us) Ear incisions were performed at the back of the ear to locate a thin membrane for the repair of the ear drum. That's why we saw layers of tissue beneath the skin and how the doctor managed to locate the ear canal from the back of the ear. Before we left, we saw the doctor insert a rubber tube through the ear canal and out from the back of the ear. Super cool right? hahaz, what a rare opportunity to watch such processes going on behind the scenes. The other surgery was to repair 3 ossicles bones behind our ear drum. That means that they were actually quite deep inside our ear canal. The operating doctor had to use a microscope to peer through. Hahaz, that's when we get to watch from the TV how he tried to drill away bones, push tissues aside or avoid damaging nerves inside. It's was a pity we didnt get to watch the whole operation though... I didnt get to see the bones... Hey, but through this TAG, i managed to catch glimpses of many things inside our ENT, like ear drums, our vocal cords, epiglottis, eustachian opening etc.

I believe that the doctor who was operating to repair the ossicle bones is quite a senior doctor in rank and experience cos he was educating the other MOs around what to do or what they should expect to see if they were perform it again. Surgical anatomy is very important!!!

Oh, and i got to hear some of the "jokes" doctors cracked in OT. For instance, the patient who needed ossicle bones repair was a medical student. She seeked help from the doctor because she couldnt hear well. During the operation, another senior doctor who popped by for a while was telling the others that she (the medical student) couldnt hear good advice and entered medical school hence it is important to fix her hearing early. I was standing at the side and laughing softly lar. Hahaz, i realised that they always tend to advise us on the importance of knowing clearly the reasons why one wants to study medicine. I believe that it is due to their personal experience. Like on call, gosh, i think it's really tiring and challenging to stay awake for more than 36 hours in the hospital. Dreadful, i feel. I feel that to be able to overcome such incidents, it's really important for would-be-medical-students to understand the sacrifices and perhaps "pains" doctors have to go through. The present-doctors would not want us to make the wrong decisions and regret for life or just waste our time pursuing something which is not what we perceive of. This was something very valuable i have gained from this TAG.

After OT, i joined ShaoJie and went back to MO clinic. We were attached to the head of department's MO clinic room which attended to private patients. There, we managed to see a lot more than usual because the flexible endoscopy was connected to 3 monitors for the patients to view the interior of their ENTs. In the subsidised clinic, the endoscopy was viewed by the MOs alone. However, in the private clinic, patients get to enjoy the interior views and understand what exactly is inside of their ENTs. That's why Dr Yeak pointed out a lot of medical knowledge to us. That's also when i saw how the vocal cords looked like :P Pretty pretty!

We also witnessed a lot of actions like flushing of pus from the maxillary sinus. It was a really insightful stay in the MO clinic then. Dr Yeak was also a patient teacher who taught us a lot of medical information through each endoscopy performed on patients. He would explain everything in-depth for us despite the hectic schedule he had. I really appreciate that as we really got to learn much more rather than just sitting around and watch how doctors talk to or attend to patients verbally.

Wednesday was really a fun and pleasant experience to me. Best best best day for me!!!! On Thursday, the others went for OT while i stayed in Dr Shirish's clinic alone. Dr Shirish was also a very friendly doctor who allowed me to be curious of everything. Whenever i asked him questions, he would always be delighted to answer me in-depth, trying to simplify everything for me to avoid confusions. At times, when he saw something peculiar in the patient, he would allow me to view them too, after seeking the patients' consents. That was when i had the chance to lay my hands on some of the basic instruments ENT doctors always use. I also got to see how he examined for certain symptoms in patients. The morning was long but i felt that i have absorbed much from him. Hahaz, i finally got to try the tuning fork on myself after being so curious of what patients should hear. He also explained how to read audiograms clearly to me when he was trying to inform the patients' of the hearing test results. I also watched him dress a wound for a guy who had a hole cut at the side of his throat.

I really found this TAG enriching and really enjoyed myself thoroughly during the 4 days. To be honest, i never expected that i would learn that much from the doctors, or enjoyed the interaction with a few of them that much. They really taught me a lot directly or indirectly. I really really appreciate and thank them for giving me such a memorable experience to prep and aid me in deciding to be a medical student. I was a little depressed when i did not get to say thanks and byes to Dr Li Hao, Dr Ng, Dr Harold, Dr Chong and Dr Yeak as they were in OTs when we left. Gosh, it was seriously a brilliant 4-day experience which i would not forget. This is certainly a part of the most unforgettable and insightful experience in my 2011.

We are having OT tmw!!!! Omg!!!! hahaz, we get to see some minor/major operations going on in ENT performed by doctors we are about to shadow tmw!!! Hahahahaz, thrilled and excited!!!

Anyway, yupyup, our TAG period is extended to 4 days now, with like immediate effect when the secretary of the doctor in-charge of our attachment obtained immediate permission for us to attend an OT on thurs!!! hahaz :P This is super cool and exciting and i really really appreciate everything they have arranged for us. Yet at the same time, it meant that im facing serious time constraints that for next 3 weeks, im going burn myself out in order to cover all the topics and hw in preparation for BT2!!!! Gosh, as updated, i really really do need a time turner!!!

Speaking of which, Edward, my friend in NYC, just tagged me in his album of Harry Potter Exhibition in NYC. FREAKING FREAKING JEALOUS OF HIM!!!!! Some more they didnt allow photography so he only sneaked out some photos for me. Hahaz, really thank-you to him!!!! The photos he took really made my heart tingle!!!! heehee, HARRY POTTER LEH!!!!! ARGH~~~~ I WONT GET TO VISIT IT LAR!!!!

Kz, back to my TAG journal. Today, we had a totally different schedule. Right in the morning, we followed a group of doctors up to the wards to do ward rounds. There, doctors would visit some special cases of infections or health conditions in patients and discuss about their treatments or just details of their recent check-ups or health conditions to make sure that they are doing well. Well, not everyone would be doing well cos as they stepped out of 1 particular ward, the doctor who brought us around turned and told us that she may leave soon... That's the kind of situations doctors have to face regardless of which area of study they are in. Hmmm, emotionally, i think it may be something difficult for me to take... Hmmm.... life and death are common but if you get too emotionally attached to a patient, this outcome can come really hard on you. Which is why it is important that doctors still keep a certain distance away from their patients to maintain that professionalism.

A doctor was also very friendly and initiated to talk to us about some of the health conditions the patients are having. Some included really super in-depth medical condition which we went nodding away, trying very hard understand it, but left slightly clueless about it.

After the ward round, we went to the canteen to "have a drink" with the doctors. Boy was their "drink" a quick one... They all finished their drinks and left within a short moment, leaving us there to chat till our next schedule starts at 9.30am.

At 9.30, ShaoJie and I went to the voice clinic to sit in for 2 sessions of voice therapy. There, we learnt some short exercises which aid to relieve the tension accumulated in our vocal cords. Hahaz, i thought voice therapy was quite interesting for a moment. Those "hmmm", "aaa", "eeee", "hooooo" and "zzzzz" exercises seemed really easy and pointless to do but after understanding what they do to help your throat, i do wish to try them everyday...
Through the therapist's advice for one of the patients, I learnt that full-cream dairy milk and citrus fruits are actually quite damaging to our throat, indirectly, as they contain fats and acid. Fats tend to stay in our stomach longer. This would impact our throat as we would experience a condition called "acid reflux". This implies that at times, stomach acid may flow up to our throat and if it is too acidic due to our diets, it would harm our throat in the long-run. Voice therapy alone is a book containing many chapters and knowledge to absorb. I seriously never knew that there's so much to study on just a small part of our body... Throat >>> vocal cords? Wah, our body is really complex.....

Perhaps it was due to the environment, not much of the session itself, we got a little tired and excused ourselves to attend audiology sessions where they would test for patient's hearing abilities and sometimes speech test too. Hahaz, the room was made to be sound-proof so when we were inside, it was super quiet even though the therapist and the patient were communicating. Inside the audiology room, we watched how they operate on the audiogram to obtain inform on the patients' hearing ability through controls of volumes and frequencies of tones played. It's like a small recording room, just that patients entering the extra-sound-proof room are asked to listen to tones through a headphone. From the outside, the person-in-charge would control the volume and the frequencies of the tones played to patients. Then, they would adjust to see what's the range of volumes which the patients can hear for each particular frequency range. It was interesting at the start but after watching for a while, it got a little dull as they would just repeat the whole session again and again on different patients. Hahaz, just by standing at the side, i think i know how to control the audiogram le. Well, talking from an amateur point of view. Sorry~

For lunch, we went over to Square 2 and tried Popeye for the first time, well, just me... Hahaz, Shawn mentioned that Popeye was nice so i decided to give it a go, regardless of the price of the meal :P Hahaz, after lunch, we went back to the clinic and dropped by rhinology when the nurse told us that a patient was currently doing skin prick test. We got there slightly later hence we didnt get to see the pricking process. Well, for ShaoJie, he did that test before but for me, it was a fascinating new thing. Hahaz, there was a total of 17 allergens which the nurse would test on the patient. These include cat hair, mixed dog breeds, various ferns (for pollen), a few kinds of dust mites and the gross thing im scared of, cockroach mix... I was totally freaked out when i saw "cockroach mix" on the form to be filled in as report. Totally freaked out!!! So, the process was something like this. The nurse would apply the allergen on both of your hands, labelled with 1-17 for each allergens. Then, she would prick your skin with a needle to allow the allergen to seep in. For the 1st allergen, it would be a positive control of histamine which is released whenever we experience allergies. The 2nd and 3rd allergens would act as negative control, containing the solvent to dissolve the other allergens as some of them may be purchased in solid forms. I heard that the allergens are quite expensive... bought from UK de. I dun think i wanna try... got cockroach mix leh..... Hahaz, i dun mind trying the food test which is in another department. Hahaz, i was discussing about it with the nurse and she suggested that perhaps the food test was something like they would give you a big prawn and ask you to eat. I was like, "Oh okay, i dun mind!!!" Hahaz, Althea wont mind too right :P She can join me!!!

Later, we dropped by a RP's clinic room. He was one of the doctor in-charge of our attachment and i think one of specialist in the ENT department. His patients were more "interesting", in a sense, their cases were more unique and varied as compared to the MO clinic we went yesterday. Hahaz, after all, he's a specialist leh! Heehee, he's on call tonight btw.... I wonder how he's doing. Im quite curious how i would be to last through a night and keep myself awake for like.... around 36 hours? hahaz :P

We also managed to view an endoscopy session, with consent from the patient, to see the vocal cord when "eeee" was voiced and a view of the external ear using a.... heehee.... a particular instrument :P It was really a fun experience today as we get to see many other kinds of patients which varying symptoms. Through this session, i learnt something new: Doctors do not try to diagnosis for a particular illness or malfunction of your organs, they exclude possibilities of worse-case scenarios only. It's like a mindmap in their brain, formulated after hearing about the patients' account of their health conditions. In it, it contains all the possibilities the doctor feels that the patients may be experiencing. From there, he would try to exclude some conditions by asking specific questions for certain symptoms or by performing some endoscopy or examinations. That's something which i thought was very different about what i used to perceive of doctors' diagnosis.

Well, it would also mean that to be such a qualified doctor, you have to get your knowledge and facts right from the very beginning when you are studying. They have to be like... a part of you such that you are so familiar with them to be able to exclude or include them into your predictions after understanding patients' verbal accounts. Hahaz, i thought it sounded like im doing Organic Chem, where there're always mindmap i do to aid my revision when studying for tests to distinguish certain compounds. Something similar but more complex and seriously, hard-core mugging and memory work :P

This time, im doing so to keep entries for my TAG programme in TTSH. Hahaz, for official purposes. We were supposed to receive a template to record our daily activities for the hospital attachment but till now, i havent receive any so the easier way is to update my blog right :)

Kz, an update of my life:

1. My blk test was considered as a "disruptive selection", for those who study biology, you guys may get it. In layman term, intermediate grades were selected against and the two extremes were favoured. Hahaz, yeah, i failed my GP and Economics while achieving commendable results for Bio, Chem and Maths. Regained my confidence in Bio but i do hope that this is not just a temporary upswing in grades....

2. My recent Econs test did me proud and boosted my confidence greatly. Hahaz, proud to be ranked 1st among all the classes taught by my Econs teacher. Very confident of Econs case study but i know that such a feeling would bring me down. Hence, i really do hope to study even harder amidst my busy schedule during the hols. First week is gone due to TAG, H3 exams and SAT. left with 3 weeks to complete 5 subjects consisting of 2 years worth of syllabus. All the best to me~~~

3. 3-days TAG attachment extended to 4 days now. Hahaz, im reviewing my plan to take medicine through greater exposure as a medical officer for now :P

Today, our schedule was quite simple. ShaoJie and I paired up as a group and was assigned to a medical officer ENT clinic the whole day. So throughout the whole day, we stayed in his clinic room while he attended to patients.

The one-day experience was very fun, enriching and provided me with the opportunity to reflect deeply on my choice to take medicine in the future. The doctor may seem very discouraging as he told us right from the start that if we do not have the right motivation or the correct mindset of what it is as a doctor, we should choose anything else other than Med., like business :P hahaz, he was advocating strongly for us to take Business-related studies which would earn us more money than Med.

Well, i understood his point of view even before signing up for the attachment. I also know why he would hold such a perspective as it was one of my dilemmas in taking Med. Just that he did made us laugh and surprised us by not encouraging us to take Med. hahaz :P

After this one day attachment in the clinic, i think i can more or less understand if Med would be the appropriate career choice for me. Well, i believe that my interested lies more in forensics than clinical officers, in outdoor experience like biologist rather than clinical based diagnosis... Hahaz, i was a little apprehensive towards these thought at first, wondering if those would really be what i truly feel, but after this experience, i think i can affirm it more strongly. I do not deny that everything in the clinic interest me greatly today, like all the instruments, the knowledge and interactions between the staffs within a single room, but if the procedures were to repeat itself everyday, i do not think i may be......

The journey to specialise in a specific area for Med really takes a long long time and a great deal of perseverance and determination to achieve. Well, the cost is a super big burden too... But i was wondering if it really is what i want, or is it the fact that many people wants to take Med thus i feel like taking it... or just that i feel that im good and very interested in bio hence i choose to take Med since it is the popular and expected choice for me. It's really frustrating to think about it...

But i must say that the doctor we were assigned to is very funny, "jovial" as described by one of his patients, informed and knowledgeable of ENT. Hahaz, although he's kindda of critical? towards studying Med, of himself too..., but i believe that there's something more which motivated him to take Med.. The genuine interaction he has with patients seemed to reflect more of why he chose to take Med than the reasons he listed on why he should not have taken Med. Besides, i find him inspirational in a sense that his wide knowledge on the subject, ENT, and his informed application of that knowledge do impress me. He sure remembered every single detail from his textbook i guess :P

Could have done better for blocks.... but i know my GP is screwed... either a U or a S since more than half of our class failed it... hahaz, i'll work harder next time cos i have trust in myself and my teacher. She's doing all she can to help us and that motivates me to do even better, not only for myself, but for her as well... Hmmm.... she's the 2nd teacher who makes me feel this way...

anyway, my chem was much acceptable by others but im disappointed that my MCQ has screwed the entire paper till im speechless in my ability to guess for that 25% probability... What the hell. Need to reflect on that by doing more practices....

For maths, im proud but curious of the highest score in our class.... I'll work towards that for block test and never give up...

For Bio, by the way our teacher said that my friend and i have to accelerate our pace for blk test 2 in order for a good prediction of grades when applying for UK universities, i reckon that that implies that my bio didnt turn out well.... or rather, turned out horrendous.... In any case, i will work even harder for it...

GOSH..... ECONS TOO!!!!! I'll be super disappointed if i dun do well cos i've put in a lot of effort... Maybe there's smg wrong with how i study... NEED TO REFLECT K!!!!

回家走一走... I really enjoyed myself again and again when i go back to Malaysia to visit my relatives and the little ones.... Awww.... I plan to go back again next CNY lor!!!

Hahaz, the road back was tiring cos my dad and uncle had to drive like for 10hours plus just to reach there.... What about the journey back? hahaz. For me, i just slept throughout the whole journey there and half the ride back. Heehee, it's very nice to sleep sia.... It's like a long hibernation before school starts... Gosh, i dreaded this morning when i tried to pull myself up from the bed...

Anyway, fun fun fun and nothing else but fun there. Everyday, we would go out to different houses to 拜年 or have dinner together as a super huge family at different restaurants and houses. Hahaz, love the whole family together-ness. My maternal side really has a huge family. Counting just the no. of grandchildren my 大姨 has, it's already 11. Hahaz, the fun thing is that its 10 girls and only 1 boy. Oldest is of 13, youngest i think around 5 years ba. Among the 10, 2 are twins, both very pretty. My bro, my cousin and I were trying to figure out how to differentiate them throughout the whole stay there lor. At first it was the parting cos both have hair partings on different sides. However, after that night, they didnt comb their hair the same way again so we just had to guess who's the older and the younger one lor....

Hahaz, its really great to play with them after so long... It had been slightly more than 2 years le....

MY FIRST CONCERT AND THE BEST!!!!!! SUPER JUNIOR TOTALLY ROCKS and i think i can spend my whole weekend trying to recount the marvellous and fabulous things which have happened yesterday night. Despite the rain, our moods were totally unaffected by the weather before, during and after the concert... GOSH, THE PRICE IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! i always felt guilty for spending so much money for a concert but seriously, when you're sitting inside Indoor Stadium, it's worth it. And when you see Super junior's first concert performance, EVERYTHING IS TOTALLY TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE~~~~ Hahaz, reminds me of the first joke Heechul made in the opening video. LeeTeuk was like going "where will it be held?" then someone replied "Singapore Indoor Stadium" then i think immediately, HeeChul asked "It is indoor? Arh..." Then the whole group started laughing.... Sometimes, coincidences are really freaky.... I really do suspect that there's more to coincidences when they happened consecutively....

This afternoon, while i was doing maths questions, i got hungry (cos i didnt eat lunch) and went out to find some food in the kitchen. Then, my mum was working so she had the radio on to 97.2FM. When i stepped into the kitchen and brought the bread toaster out, the radio started playing 一切为了爱 by 品冠 which was also the second fav song i like from 下一站. I thought it was quite a coincident cos i happened to be in the kitchen to listen to it... it's like right-at-the-moment-and-it-played kind of feeling which made me feel so fated so listen to it. Hahaz, so i took my time to prepare my bready lunch and went back to my room.

Then, when i was about to finish my maths hw, i thought of 范范's 一个像夏天，一个像秋天 song. I liked that song a lot cos it spoke about friendship, which was actually the first song i've heard about the particular theme. I was humming to one of the sentence of the song and felt thirsty... So, i went out of my room and into the kitchen to get a drink. The moment i stepped into the kitchen, i heard the radio play the exact song i was thinking about like seconds ago!!! That was when i really felt that there's some magical going on....

Hahaz, i tend to relate these things to magic.... like sometimes, i really feel that Dobby's around.... It's kind of spooky but i still think that magic does exist in some ways we cant figure or show... Hmmm, remember from Prisoner of Azkaban, where Harry asked Stan why people cannot see the Knight Bus??? He replied something saying that it's because people dun pause to see or that they dun pay much attention to the things around them. I think it's true... ... Or maybe im just obsessed with Harry Potter.....

Anyway, Taken, the movie, is very nice. Gosh, really kept me tense throughout the movie..... Channel 5 showed just now and now my parents are nagging me about sleeping late... Come on, do i need to get people to sign petitions for me??? I sleep at 11am during weekdays now (cos of 下一站) and how early do they want me to sleep sia!

PS. They got more nagging after they started talking again this morning... Hahaz, cold war for the dunno-how-many-times le.... This time lasted longer only

Sianz, some of today's happenings are upsetting. A lady who looked fake refused to move her legs away to allow me to sit the inner seat beside hers. Isnt it obvious that one should move one's legs for someone with like a gigantic schoolbag... esp when she's not very slim.... yet not very fat i must admit.... Then, people can be standing on the upper level of the bus like no one's business... Dun schools teach students that standing on the upper level of the bus shifts the CG upwards, causing the bus to be prone to falling sideways when curving???

Gosh, im seriously particular about such stuffs in life sia..... That's why i keep asking why would people do such things which seems obviously "incorrect" to me.... in a certain way.... Sigh... no wonder i scored "curiosity and interest toward the world" as my top strength.... Yeah, i did the VIA survey posted on SMB.

Sigh.... anyway, school's finally starting proper this week... Everything's on track, all lessons are back to normal with lectures going on. CCA resumed and H3 started... My schedule is totally packed for the week and im sure i can do it. JIAYOU!!!!!!

While watching a documentary now, i find it very touching that a CEO of a construction company is willing to go undercover into his construction sites to interact with his workers directly. I really think that he did exhibit the qualities of being a compassionate leader... I really admire that.

Hmm... Undercover Boss is the title of the documentary... I really enjoyed it a lot :P Hahaz, it really taught me a lot, how a leader is able to feel for his followers and workers truly... It's actually very rare and it's really moving....

Plastic surgeries.... Hmmm.... i wonder if it would come out for GP topics.... The term has totally exploded into the list of modern social controversies. It's very difficult to decide if it's beneficial to go for it or not, or to judge whether one should or not.... A topic which makes everyone headache... but not apparently so for Koreans and Brazilians.... I just read from an article that Brazil is the best place on Earth to go for plastic surgeries.... gosh.... i used to think that it was S.Korea lor....

In any case, it's sort of a nature VS man-made debate topic..... Hmmm... difficult to draw the lines cos one should examine from a case-to-case basis. Well, im not very affected by the topic personally for now, but i feel strongly that plastic surgeries are not meant for everyone.... Heehee, it's sort of true that some ppl have failed surgeries.... (better to pay more money now than to pay with your face forever) and that some ppl just dun have the face to do the same surgeries as others.

Hahaz, in my opinion, i've seen ppl who have done surgeries but looked worser than before on TV. Not saying exactly who cos i cant remember.... Others just look like a Mannequin from some fashion boutique (well, the sort of screwed and fake kind). But there are many who do look prettier.

Oh! extreme plastic surgeries are so NO-NO!!! hahaz, i remember watching a documentary video on plastic surgeries and seriously, ppl get addicted to doing plastic surgeries and their face is totally getting more and more screwed.....

Also, i should prep myself with evolution too le ba? hahaz, i think Biology is very fun for leisure reading, not for exam revisions :P

But i heard that the scriptwriter also wrote MingZhong, both dramas which later attracted a lot of viewers and were rank top 1 and 2 with highest viewers in Taiwan i think... someone told me so.... impressive leh.... I really love the plot... I also found out that Vanness wasnt the original male lead... MingDao was.... but i would so prefer Vanness..... :P AnYiXuan wasnt too.... it was supposed to be Vivian Xu. Hahaz, sometimes, changes are really for the better.... I really prefer AnYiXuan and Vanness....

In any case, i just remembered that AnYiXuan also acted in XianJianQiXiaZhuan, the show YangXi and I used to be obsessed with in the past during our secondary years. That time, we're super into HuGe (well im still liking him :P) and LiuYiFei (that's when i really liked her... though i first knew her from TianLongBaBu). AnYiXuan acted as like the third party so we sort of dun really like her... but in the middle of the drama,she sacrificed herself to save XiaoYao (by HuGe) and LingEr (by LiuYiFei). That part was seriously very touching and i switched to liking her too.... well, but i wanted LingEr and XiaoYao to be together no matter what.

Hmmm.... first was DouYu, second was XianJian, third was YiTianTuLongJi and fourth is XiaYiZhan. hahaz, she's really outstanding i must say cos she's starring in a lot of dramas. Hmmm... the person who star-spotted her in Taiwan is really a genius in predicting the future arh?!

Hahaz, anyone wanna watch with me? very tempted to watch.... just hope that i dun get addicted ba.... Beside, 西游记 is a renowned Chinese literature work. Hahaz, watch this will at least keep me in touch with Chinese... my childhood... hahaz :P

In the evening, when i was watching JK hits on MTV, i was surfing too... Then, i was searching the web about Vanness... hahaz, i was really impressed by his acting in 下一站. Then, i found out that he worked with Kangta before.... I knew he worked with one Korean celeb before but didnt know it was Kangta.... Whoa.... ex-member of HOT, one of the most respected celebs in SM... heehee, found it very impressive....

Then, when i switched off my com, JK hits played Vanness' Reason, a Jap song. I was like "WHOA! SPOOKY!!!" hahaz, i was surfing on him for a moment and the next moment, his song was played on JK hits... hahaz, such coincidence really surprised me... or shocked me....

In any case, his MV was impressive too... didnt know he could dance that well..... not just well, actually, very impressive and charismatic.... very different from RenGuangXi... hahaz :P I also spotted a familiar face.... XuWeiNing.... but i dunno if she's the female lead for his MV....

Sometimes, i really wish to fast-forward the bad parts and rewind the nice parts in dramas.... Watching 下一站 on Channel U now makes me very sad cos they would be separated soon.... Awww... i want nice happy endings only......

Hmmm... the first time i watched 安以軒's drama was 斗鱼. That time was with 郭品超. That show was very nice... hahaz, it was 斗鱼II which made Show Luo nominated in Golden Bell Awards right?! In any case, 安以軒 is really outstanding sia... Hmmm... liking her more.... She was also in 倚天屠龙记 and i saw Dramawiki that she's taking up many other super classics like this year, she's starring in 水浒传 and 西游记 as 白骨精. Hahaz, but i doubt i would watch them... The stories and of cos dramas would definitely be super long....

Yesh! i've completed 下一站, 幸福 within like 12 hours sia.... I started watching online from ep6 at around 8pm last night and watched till 12.30midnight. Then, once i woke up this morning at 10.30, i started preparing and watched the remaining episodes from 11am till 5plus... heehee, i've sort of mastered the skill of speed-watching by fast-forwarding all the long parts.... Hahaz, bet Joanna always does that when she watches drama....

In any case, the beautiful love story has ended well and the drama has seriously dried me of tears. Great love story plot which touches me almost every episodes. Awww.... never knew how well Vanness can act.... The female leads, AnYiXuan and WeiNing, are all so pretty and devoted.... Aww..... Cant help but fantasise about my love story too... Hmmm.... dramas =/= reality, i know this well enough... but just cant help thinking about it... Sianz, dramas always make me feel this way...

Great, now that i can keep my mind off the drama, i shall start studying properly again... Wait... i think i will still watch from the tv cos the plot is still starting off nice, with two of together... But when i play the disc to watch myself, i'll do selective-watching and watch the ending only.... remember they got together after the fire case??? hahaz, i always like to start watching from there....

Almost reached it... i finished 2 Sherlock Holmes books, Magician Apprentice, Forgotten Garden, and now reading Elizabeth and Mary... WAIT!!!!! I COMPLETED DEATHLY HALLOWS TOO!!! hahaz, asa!!!! i completed this!!!!

3. Read up on at least 10 non-fiction books

Why did i try to attemp Mission Impossible??? hmm..... but i think instead of non-fiction books, i've watched a lot of documentaries this year, since i have subscribed them on Starhub. In any case, does Discovery Channel magazines count?? if so, then it counts ba.....

4. Make it to SBO team (COMPLETED)

well, i didnt include the practical round, so... I COMPLETED THIS!!! hahaz, got into the theory round and the journey ended there... still, im in the SBO team lar :P

5. Study hard and prepare well for SBO no matter what (COMPLETED)

watching GDA 2010 on channel U to pass my last moments of 2010. Heehee, im loving Mediacorp for this sia :P I just finished KBS Gayo repeat telecast this afternoon, then at 9pm, there was KBS drama awards, which i went into 2011 with them (well... according to Korea's time) heehee, there's still a few more mins to 2011.

In any case, KBS drama awards was awesome!!! Although Minho didnt have any drama works in KBS this year. SungkyungKwan was there so it was worth watching. In any case, it was really, as called by my cousin, "extra special bonus" to see Minho there with SoEun to present the awards. Heehee, it was really surprising to see him there. Oh, have to congratulate him for winning an award at MBC drama awards... Awww.... i really want to watch MBC from Starhub...... JYJ's performance was also awesome... though i missed half.....

Its very difficult to watch 下一站, 幸福 and KBS drama and yesterday's Gayo at the same time sia..... I think i should rely on Tudou or youtube for 下一站, 幸福... its really nice :P arh!!!! im waiting for all the nice performances by SHINee, Suju and SNSd... heehee, im totally into SM-idols sia....

Gulliver's travels was a nice movie to watch with kids and their families... For me, watching alone, the movie was just so-so... brought me back to childhood but it was kind of a significant drop from Deathly Hallows. The comedy scenes inside the movie werent very funny to me too... Hmmm, did loneliness affect the mood of me watching?? The theatre was totally packed with families lar.....

In any case, holidays are ending cos 2010 is ending too..... once 2011 starts, our J2 life starts and everything im enjoying may have to come to a halt.... Just dun lose myself during the extremes of mugging ba :P

Also, SHINee may be coming Singapore for their concert... Maybe only but it seriously breaks my heart that i cant go ba... My mum said Suju3 would be the first and possibly the last concert.... Afterall, she only said, "给她去一次". Possiblt, i can tweak the sentence a little... in any case, i need money ba :

Ooo.... i just realised that i scored 1990 in total.... is that bad??? i didnt even hit 2000 sia.... stupid me for getting one math question wrong.... bleh!!!! my writing sucks too.... BLEH!!!! just 10 points away from 2000!!!!! ARGH!!!! kz... nvm, maybe i should take again next year. I dun even know the score that i should get to apply to various uni.s sia.... hmmm....

This year's Christmas hols were well spent with my family and friends.

On 23rd Dec, we went over to Ganma's house instead of a christmas party with our parents cos we wont feel quite comfortable there with their friends.... We then went out with our cousins to order plates of sushi and log cakes for the christmas party on Christmas Eve. This gave Kaiwen excuses to stay overnight there lor.

On Christmas Eve, i went out with Lydia and AiLeng to hand them important stuffs. Cos of a Gloria Jeans Coffee voucher, AiLeng and I went to Suntec for to purchase our drinks and took a long shopping spree together there. We totally spent our whole afternoon there, buying stuffs, window shopping, discussing about almost all kinds of stuffs, going arcade to play HOTD4. We totally made it to stage 2 and died at a later part of it. Heehee, awesome game :P

Then, i made it to Ganma's house for dinner. We had sushi, roasted chicken, log cakes, noodles and many other food for dinner together, as a family. we also had some christmas gifts to share (mostly receiving though :P) After which, my family went over to our Church for the Midnight Christmas Mass. It lasted from midnight to 1plus am.... It was rather tiring and i could barely keep myself awake, unless there were christmas carols for me to sing too....

The next day, Christmas Day, my brother and i woke up at like slightly close to noon becos we were totally so tired from staying awake past midnight. That long sleep was totally awesome as we headed to my ganma's house again for dinner. My mum and my ganma called the dinner 吃草 cos we ate salad for dinner. It was just a simple but delicious meal with fresh sliced lettuce, cherry tomatoes, salad cream, topped with sliced ham (boy was the baked ham super super delicious), cheese sausages and fishballs (there's meatballs and prawn balls too!) hahaz. Of cos, cos i really really liked to eat 汤圆, my ganma prepared them again and i totally finished like..... i dunno.... many of them that night :P It was totally a great dinner to last me throughout the night.

Today's Holy Family Day. Hence, we spent our morning in church and afternoon together down to Orchard to spend our remaining cash vouchers on Quizznos Subs again. I had to purchase threads for my cross-stitch projects so my brother accompanied down to Plaza Sing.'s Spotlight. Boy did i realise how useful and amazing that shop was for it had many many countless nice stuffs to be used for handicrafts, knittings, paintings and many others. After which, my mum was going all over about how she didnt even get a chance to walk the new DNA bridge or take a look at the inside of MBS and the shopping centre (there was this whole fuss where my dad said that she should go down herself one day by public transport but my mum said today's a rare occasion for her to be free of work). So, instead, my father drove her to Vivo City where they walked their way and my brother and I headed to PageOne. Well, for those familiar in Vivo, it's a bookshop :P

I bought a book on a discount (which seriously prompted me to buy more sia) and we tried GongCha. The milk tea tasted somewhat similar to Koi's so i think i can just drink any one of it. But GongCha's milk tea is just 0.10cents more expensive cos while Koi included pearls in its 2.40 price, GongCha required an additional 30cents for the pearls. Heehee, but they taste the same, DELICIOUS!!!! JJANG!!!!

Hahaz, my legs are aching from all the shopping sprees i had during the hols. When school starts, EVERYTHING WILL RESUME BACK TO NORMAL, WHILE I SLOWLY GET INTO THE CRAZY MUGGING MODE BEFORE A-LVLS!!!!!!

Merry christmas to all, Happy Boxing Day and enjoy the music performances on Music Core by many top and outstanding celebs. Shall not name any cos many should know who im referring to :P

冬至= 吃汤圆 = my fave!!!!! hahaz, i just love to eat the small 汤圆s, those without any "feelings... lame... in any case, its great to eat in large portions cos i can never get sick of them :P After i finish those my mum cooked, i'll go over to my ganma's house to eat :P MUAHAHAHAHAHA

These are the ones uncooked. i was 搓-ing with my mum and decided to do funny stuffs with it. Hahaz, i doubt these will be accepted if an elder is doing with me... its not the traditional shape....

Pretty??? i love the pink ones. The colour is just so bright and light. i wanted to form some letters with it but realised that it wasnt that easy, after everything was put "in place"....

Then, you'll boil them. Thos bigger size ones are those with "feelings", peanut "feelings". Those are meant for my brother who likes them

As for mine, i just prefer to eat the small ones, with 甜汤, cooked with panda leaves and just sugar cubes :P Hmmm... but there's just something missing in my mum's ones, as compared to my ganma's ones.

See, i always make some bigger ones for myself :P

and i did some blending of colours with the white and pink ones. Their colours are also very nice :P

Wait, speaking of yesterday, i was so so freaking pissed that my BBF was not showing cos they had to finish airing the Channel U 10pm drama.... I was freakingly pissed to the max when i didnt see the opening theme at 11.30 lor!!!!! In the end, i ended up watching Forbes top 10 young royals on channel 5 and fell asleep early.... Super mad!!!!

and surprisingly, i woke up the latest ever!!!! 11.17am!!! I've never slept till so late.... hmmm... probably cos this morning, my mum didnt open my door hence there was peace for me to sleep longer. Becos of BBF, i had to wake up later to get enough sleep. So, i decided to close my door. But every morning, my parents would open it. Then, when my brother wakes up, he'll create a havoc and wake me up. BLEH!!! today was a different case cos i heard little of the shouting hence i could sleep in peace sia :P

Yesterday was an interesting chatting sesison with Chloe while waiting for Song JoongKi. Though we didnt see him in the end, we had a great adventure on our own in search for a toilet and the chatting session seriously brought us closer together :P

SIGN OF VICTORY!!!!! I JUST MADE IT TO THE TOP, among my FB friends, FOR SNAKE!!!! Gosh, my mum came me and told me not to get so addicted to the game le... Well, i thought i could stop playing but apparently, my 1st position dropped to 2nd overnight so i have to earn it back right??? Yeah, right. Besides, i spent 3 games to break all records and make it to first again with 1470. Some more i killed myself cos it was rather sianz to play for like 10mins straight. Kz, i guess i dun have to play that game anymore :P

Anyway, today, i totally had a shopping spree with my family. It does feel much better spending money with your family cos.... my mum paid everything. I bought a new wallet (pink with hello kitty sia. It was too attractive to not to buy), skirt, pants, making a new specs with the same frame, got new contact lens, bought new shoes (boy are the shoes there super pretty!!!! I had to choose one from like 5 pretty ones sia!!! I also saw 2 or 3 heels which are just gorgeously ex :P come to think of it, they are affordable but my mum wont pay then....). Worse thing, for this shopping trip, i bought everything i needed... and i spent the most... Heehee, i finished spending all the money my father brought along...

Wait, did i mention that i went Malaysia instead of shopping in Singapore? Hahaz, spending in foreign currency does feel different sia :P But dun get the idea that im a shopaholic. Im not. I rarely spend.... just getting new clothes for the new year, new shoes cos some may know that my flats are seriously gonna be in pieces, new wallet.... cos mine turned yellow and the pink was too attractive... Heehee, lucky i didnt buy more sia :P I think i would if i had the financial capability then.....

Speaking of which, i'll be blind in the morning till sat cos i dun have my specs with me. Contact lenses can only last me for 12hours... which im gonna wear in the afternoon only cos i need to watch BBF in the night :P Heehee, well-thought out. Afterall, i'll just sleep in till 9plus, or 10plus, at most, and spend the rest of the morning with my blurry vision.... Have to stick with this status till Sun ba.... My cousin is collecting my specs on Sat evening only....

HAPPY HOLS!!! i need to do work le sia... Hols are running faster as 100111 gets nearer..... SHUCKS!!!!

Whoa, the past two days have been an awesomely exciting yet exhausting day sia.... I joined Aileng for her YLEP CIP to bring kids out for a 2 days outing, being a faci. Together with Shinny and Alien in our group, we brought 6 kids out to the zoo on the first day, Yakult factory, pizza hut kitchen tour and finally the skypark on the second day. (wee, i only turned up for the skypark tour with bubble teas... hahaz)

The kids were super active and named themselves little champions since we were in group 1. I think i was acting like a big kid there cos i'm always 自-highing when hanging around with the kids. I almost lost my voice on the first day in the zoo. It was a super tiring day, especially when we were rushing here and there and the kids were all scattered around... hahaz, they're really fun to hang out with though.

A lot of amusing stuffs happened during our 2days outing. Let's see if i still can remember and perhaps, list them down properly.... depending on how "memorable" (for some) they are:

1. A 5 year old boy is always seen sticking to a 6 year old girl. Hahaz, i called them a couple though they kept denying... hahaz, they would hold hands wherever they went. Some more, the funny thing was that yesterday night, while we were on the coach back home, the girl said to another boy, "I give you the right to scold him (her "boyfriend")" That phrase totally made me gasped at how kids were behaving these days sia... Whoa, what a powerful sentence coming out... hahaz :P Hmmm, i remember telling Shinny how impressive it was that kids know something about rights....

2. the kids who went out with us were all primary school kids. I think the oldest is around p4 or at most p5 only. But, guess what they were singing on the coach..... Justin Beiber's Baby. They kept singing the chorus and the starting few lines on and on, switching between this and Waka Waka lor....

Hahaz, this totally made Shinny commented, "时代变了, 我融不下去" Hahaz, that was very funny cos she said something very funny last night. I wasnt with them for the day till evening hence i didnt know what happened in the morning and afternoon. On the coach home, Shinny said to me that kids were singing songs she dunno at all. Then, she gave an example saying that kids were singing a nursery rhyme, what "Waka waka" de. At that moment, the first song which came up to my mind was the World Cup theme song sung by Shakira. But, as she said, it was a nursery rhyme so i was like searching through my memories of nursery rhymes for something similar. None came out. So, i asked the 5year old boy who was on her lap (the same boy mentioned above). I asked him to sing the waka waka song. Guess what, he sang Shakira's Waka Waka with almost perfect pronunciation of the lyrics he knew. At that moment, i looked at Shinny and went totally speechless. Shinny didnt even know that song yet a 5year old boy knows how to sing it well. She even said it was a nursery rhyme which she dunno. I was totally "OMG, WTH!!!"

3. Again, Shinny was the star of this little naration. On the coach to the zoo, we sat behind our group. Then, as we were conversing, we found out that a girl, probably p4, was using her phone to sms. Shinny then said that "时代变了..." that she only got her phone in sec1. Then i was like "yeah, of course, i got mine in p5 sia". All of a sudden, that girl spoke to us loudly, "Aiyo, i got my phone in p3". Then, i was laughing cos she overheard our conversation. Hmmm... cant quite remember what happened next but Shinny seemed a little speechless cos the girl said something else and i think i was laughing.... hahaz, yeah, i said something like "maybe her p3 is your sec1... same year mah..." too but it didnt make sense right... hmmmm......

4. Kids still like to play with water in the KidzWorld, although they know that they dun have extra clothes with them. My kids were like all drenched from head to toe when i met them after lunch. I was like "faster go change clothes" and they went "i never bring/they are not with me". Then i went -_-. hahaz :P

5. Oh, the same girl who got her phone in p3 doesnt like SHINee!!! So heartbreaking when i found that out. Cos she started the conversation on the coach saying that she knew how to sing Gee but too shy to volunteer to sing for everyone. So, i carried on and asked her who she liked. She said SNSD, 4 minutes, U Kiss, Beast, Ft island and perhaps even more. But i realised that she didnt say like SHINee and Suju. So i said that i liked them and asked if she liked them too. I went "Do you like SHINee???" and she gave me a super short and devastating reply "NO!". She shouted super loud too, even though i was just behind her on the coach. Totally crushed to the ground at the instant she shouted..... 心碎掉 lor....

6. When we were on the 56th floor, skypark, kids kept saying that they wanna jump down from the building. That quite shocked me but i think they took it was a joke. So i was like dun try that cos you're going to be half-dead when you're still in the air. HuaiMin came by and went like "Why are you saying this kind of things to the kids?" "i mean they keep telling me that they wanna jump down lar!". hahaz, so, i started this 5mins lecture on why you'll die halfway off the building to them... something about pressure and squashing of organs... probably exaggerated a little more... After hearing that, there was this moment of silence and the naughtiest boy in my group responded, "i wanna jump down and try". That moment i went like "Oh! dun try that!!!" hahaz, it was meant as a joke i think but it's quite scary to hear that from them too.....

Really had great fun with them. They are really super cute and really really hope to see them again soon :P I seriously enjoyed the CIP and really thought that such programmes are more meaningful and interesting ~.~

Oh, i watched the final episodes of 射雕 this evening and felt that 胡歌's really a great actor. Pro!!! with 林依晨. Im also listening to a song from the soundtrack of 天外飞仙. This song can really make me tear at times.... even till now.... hahaz, dunno why but whenever i think of the ending of the drama in the night, i'll tear de. It's just very touching.

That segment was quite WTH lar!!! but super funny sia!!!

The middle part where 3 ppl took turns to "Yeah~~~" (sounds weird) but they vocals are really shockingly awesome.... Gosh, i have nothing better to say but to stay impressed by their live performance. THEY WILL SHINE SIA!!!!!

SHOOTING STARS!!!! hahaz, i've seen a total of 17 Korean idols today!!!!

Im uploading the video to YouTube and FB... MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Let's highlight my journey today:

In the morning, i took buses to IMM cos i just wanted to try seeing HyunJoong.... Well, my gut feeling was right and i did managed to him up-close, literally right in front of me... MUAHAHAHA!!!! He took the lift to level one and walked the "tile-carpet" pathway to FaceShop to advertise the brand. Heehee, i was lucky to reach at around 10.40 and the event started around 11plus ba.... Muahahaha, great place to stand, great view for free :P After seeing him twice, i went around shopping based on the IMM guide... cheap stuffs to buy so yeah, i swept almost everything i wanted...

Then, i headed to City Hall to meet LeJing, JiaMin, 老爸 and 老公. But they went airport to wait for 2pm, miss A and MBLAQ le... so i just went over to Etude House to buy my facial stuffs and body gel. Then, i hesitated a while and headed to airport too. There, at T3, i met JingJing and we went over to T2 to wait for their arrival... I can still remember that when i met JingJing, the plane, SQ 603 has already landed.... hahaz :P See how punctual i was?

Yup, managed to catch all the groups there. It was funny cos 2pm was the first one to come out. Then, many people started running after them so i had the chance to lean on the glass panels to see Miss A and MBLAQ. Stars really have the 气势.... TaecYeon was totally AA cos he was wearing a singlet with an unzipped jacket. So while he walked out from the custom checkpoint, his singlet was totally able to reveal his super muscular body lar... hahaz. Nickhun was wearing sunglasses and i remembered he covered quite tightly so i could only remember the glasses and his nose. Apparently, when LeJing saw him quite up-close, she said that his skin wasnt good... hahaz, from that moment on, whenever we mentioned Nickhun, she would mention his skin lor..... MBLAQ was outstanding too. They are all quite tall and G.O. was quite easy to spot with his goatee.... But i remember looking at LeeJun alone for very long cos i think other than G.O., i only know LeeJun from SGB.... See how important it is for celebs to be exposed??? hahaz..... anyway yeah, had a good look at everyone... i also remember seeing Junsu and JunHo.... WooYoong and ChanSung??? hmm... i dun remember leh.... I heard that Suzy didnt come so i saw 3 Miss A members too... MBLAQ, i saw all but dunno who they are actually.... hahaz :P

Then, we had our lunch at T3. I bought each-a-cup but bought the wrong flavour sia!!!! DUN BUY LONGAN SMOOTHIE!!! i expected the taste to be like those longan in cans.... but it tasted like those longan which requires one to peel open the outer layer... Also, cos its a smoothie, the milk added to the taste tasted just weird to me.... Others also said it was weird but i just had to finish it not to waste money.... Boy should i stick to Chocolate Snowshake, THE BEST!!!!! hahaz, but i finished the pearls!!! heehee, each-a-cup's pearls very nice to eat :P That's way i "boycotted" SweetTalk :)

LeJing, JingJing and I headed to MBS to try our luck again. Others went off to home and to shop for white shirts :P Indeed, we were lucky cos we saw JoKwon and JinWoon appeared out of the sudden, heading back to their hotel room... Both wore the beanies and sunglasses but i think fans were able to recognise them... I dun think they had trouble reaching the lobby but outside the lift, there were a lot of fans so yeah, they got caught! hahaz, JoKwon immediately walked super fast, with JinWoon lagging behind. Very agile :P hahaz, i was really shocked that they appeared out of nowhere sia. I had the camera in my hand but i was literally too shocked to video them or even to move towards them sia... I totally can remember gasping there on the spot, watching them pass through behind the reception desk and then into the lift within seconds.... We stayed there till 7pm, playing around with "tianyi" before heading back home....

hahaz, my legs are aching like sia, but as i was editing HyunJoong's video, MY HEART TOTALLY RACED AGAIN!!!! hahaz, im collecting F4 sia, left with KimBum who havent come Singapore yet.... heehee

Times are seriously bad and shops are really doing so over to promote their products sia.... Well, using econs to explain, this seeks to lower the demand as it eliminates people who "do not have the urgency/strong desire to attend". However, is this just it? is it fair??? sigh..... there's no model answer to this....

Anyway, i still cant forget the great moments of watching DH again, alone (though a group of noisy people were sitting behind me... shall not elaborate....) The movie plot is great to me though i would of course very much prefer if all the movies were filmed closely to the original plot. Still, i really liked how the characters matured and in this particular movie, the friendship and the tense and depth of emotions conveyed were totally well brought out by the actors. Really loved. Hahaz, it was my first time crying when Dobby died cos when i first watched that movie... i was busy..... hahaz, urgency.... hence i wasnt focusing much on the movie. This time, i went to the toilet before going in in a hurry so heehee, TOTALLY ENJOYED MYSELF!!!!!

This has been my first time welcoming my bdae in Singapore for 2 years.... once was in China, the other was in US. I always arrived in Singapore on my bday with either a terrible stomachache or a terrible sick-to-be health.... hahaz, this year was really awesome.

I celebrated once with my class yesterday and today with mini 404 and my family. 3 cakes in a row to make up for those i missed during the 2 years. hahaz. We had Swensens for lunch, boy was it worth it!! and played arcade. Great that i discovered another nice shooting game there. Must go and play more often sia!!! Then, i watched DH alone in CWP. Although it rained heavily, i managed to arrive at my ganma's house dry to celebrate my bday with my family. It was super crowded cos my relatives from Malaysia were also there with me before they went off to catch their flight back home. My cousins also arrived back from Hong Kong so everyone was there. Heehee, loved the whole warm atmosphere at home..... touched..... hahaz :P

Its also the year where i received many bdae presents cos im in town ba... hahaz, i think something good about having bdae during hols is that you get to celebrate your bdae like not in the middle of exams or tests but the prob is not many will celebrate for you ba.... that's why i was actually quite touched when 79 planned a gathering for me.... though they didnt know when exactly was my bday cos i didnt put on FB at first....

Also, i received a lot of greetings on FB too. Heehee, saying that i dun care about those would be totally untrue so i really cherished all the posts which flooded my hotmail were totally.

Hmmm... as my day is ending soon. Im gonna end it with BBF, just as how i started with BBF. Let's see, Minho was there to start and end my bday, Harry Potter was there when i was alone, SHINee was there when i was in my room.... what else? Friends and family all there with me.... i excluded hw and work, play and fun all day, presents to receive, I LOVE MY BDAY :P

Just saw the Harry Potter stamps in the evening. I thought it would be less expensive and it would be sold in like scattered packs.... but.... let me quote Ron: "BLOODY HELL!!!" The whole stamp collection is like 69.90 lar!!!! and some more must buy the whole collection which consists of year 1 to year 6 photos and a super super pretty set casing. Sigh.....

Another sigh thing: im gonna turn 17 next tuesday... weird, i thought my birthday falls on the thursday... but in any case, im prepared to spend my bdae with Harry Potter in the theatre. I seriously love my bdae month cos there's always Harry Potter to spend it with me. It's been 3 years since im able to pass my bdae on land, in Singapore. Gonna spend it well without working sia :P

DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1 PREMIERES TODAY IN SINGAPORE!!!!!!! Well, who am i if i dun watch today and like right in the morning at 10am, the earliest timing for The Cathay?!

Yeah, Lydia booked 5 tickets for Me, Joanna, Shinny and AiLeng so we really had a blast. I woke up at like 7.15, with my alarm blasting throughout the house that my parents woke up even before i did..... Split second difference.... In any case, IT WAS A GREAT DAY FOR THE AWESOME MOVIE EVENT OF THE YEAR. The lady at the ticketing counter was superbly nice and kind and friendly and thus i got a DEATHLY HALLOWS NOTEBOOK!!!!!!

Well, i think i practically sms-ed everyone to be on time so we were super punctual for the movie. GREAT PLOT, GREAT CAST, GREAT EFFECTS, EVERYTHING IS JUST CLOSE TO PERFECTION!!! Hahaz, im harry-potter-crazy now.... Hmmm... speaking of which, i cant seem to find the sticker album for DH....

Seriously, i loved the way they decorated the walls and pillars in Dhoby Gaut MRT station. Totally spectacular~~~~~

Look,JongHyun's incident has made me realised and learnt more on the topic of privacy of idols' lives. I do have to acknowledge that the moment one chooses to become an idol, one immediately gives up one's privacy to their personal life cos once they become celebrities, there's nothing personal about their lives, be it on or off stage. Once they are termed as celebrities,they have to answer to the public for their whatever actions and behaviours. Their influences over the public, especially their fans or youths (who perhaps may easily be influences through mass media), are tremendously powerful. This seriously is indisputable.

(As such, for GP essay, that would be my stand-- depending on the question though :P)

However, as i had my shower, i realised something which i have overlooked in the past whenever we had such discussions in class (e.g. during Miss Chia's lessons). I realised that public does have rights to knowing celebrities' private lives behind the cameras and stages yet this does not entitle them the right to interfere. Here, interference would perhaps mean to ask them to end their romance, for example. In the case of Angela, public cannot ask her to reunite with her mother no matter what to show filial piety or what right?

Right to know and right to interfere is so so so different... I mean, portrayal of idols off stages to the public is well, i presume, a right to know what their idols are doing... Well, i do always wanna know what SHINee, Super Junior and Minho are doing.... But this does not mean that one can disturb their lives by asking them to stop doing smg i think.

Would this be a strong counter-point for GP essay??? I think it must be clearly separated..... Umm.... not a bad try i think... Wait.... what kind of interferences are there??? Hmmmm.... there doesnt seem to be any violent objections to separate JongHyun couple... but i think the whole "emotional impact on fans" seems rather dramatic to me... hahaz, after all, they are some extreme fans around... heehee, my dad likes to say, "疯人很多" in dialect :P

Looks like it was indeed an easy guess when SHINee's arriving :P Yup, they arrived this afternoon via SQ cos i saw pictures of them departing from Incheon in the morning. The only SQ flight then was at 9am and arrival in Singapore was at around 2pm via SQ603.... easy to guess... but i felt so like SherLock Holmes.... In any case, he's way way way better than me so whatever with me lar..... Still stuck at home thinking about them....

I think they are already inside for rehearsal and resting. I doubt i can see them this time cos I have a feeling that they are leaving right after the concert.... They have to make it for Inkigayo on 24 Oct, which is tmw, meaning that they have to fly off midnight or early next morning. In any case, the chances of seeing them outside of concert is slim.... or impossible??? Sianz.... shall continue studying bio while the sky outside gets darker and darker....

Next time go Korea then stalk them sia...

As expected, last flight is scheduled at 23.55 which means that they can make it in time cos i doubt the concert will last so long.... starting from 8pm... they can leave after their item lor.... Or the next flight via SQ to Seoul would be 8am in the morning but they will reach there at around 4.25pm, time in Korea, which is late for the live broadcasting for Inkigayo. This implies that, since they have to perform on stage then, with Sulli some more, they need to reach Korea earlier then that... Then the flight would be SQ602. SHUCKS! I got into the SBO final squad, which means that i have to cram a lot of bio stuffs into my mind. For those who are taking Biology or have taken the subject, you know what it means. It's actually quite fun to learn them, before J2 since many are found in the J2 syllabus, as some also include knowledge out of the A-lvl syllabus. But it's very draining to remember them. Well, i think interest is the key so yeah, im starting to develop interest towards it such that im reading not for the exam but for my own self-reading. Well, that works cos now, i at least can remember that Zygomycota, Ascomycota and Basidomycota belong to the Kingdom of Fungi. Heehee, great improvement le leh :P

Minho has a new hairstyle i think. Heehee, his hair looks quite short... Urm.... Lee Minho btw.... Heehee, not SHINee's :P In any case, the MC Hello performance yesterday evening was very sweet, even though they didnt dance cos of JongHyun and Key's injuries. I think they are just sweet and good-looking no matter what lar. Idols... sounds so far away.....

Yesterday's dinner was a blast. Hahaz, now i can brag about having dinner in the same ballroom with His Excellency, President Nathan and his wife.... Heehee, and i thought this may seem too fated.... but the Korean ambassador was also there for dinner. Heehee... from Korea.... heehee.....

Anyway, our YFC group attended TTSH gala dinner yesterday after receiving their invitation because of our fund-raising programme. In the written text by The President, he did mention us so we'll super elated when we saw it. Heehee, it's like a mini celebration or what but seated at a corner of the ballroom, with little people watching us, we totally had great fun. The food was deliciously amazing (loved the cod fish main course and cheesecake!!!!)

Just came back... with two brilliant magazines. One with Emma Watson on the cover and the other with SNSD.... to win the ticket to KPOP concert... wait, i go send in first....

heehee... only got a pair of tickets so i..... dun think i should send in too many emails too.... Nvm, this is like a 1 in a million chances of winning....

Anyway's im currently finishing Summer's Desire which is a super duper complicated drama..... Sigh.... The plot and the emotions are super complicated in this drama..... very complex relationship issues....

Disappointment.... That i may screw my promos... and that i cant go Korea... False hope wazs given.... and im very depressed..... They should have just made it clear that this was meant for people who havent had the chance to go overseas for this year... Like this..... i wouldnt have held any high hopes for it..... Gone with the wind...

Meanwhile.... I RECEIVED MY HARRY POTTER WAND!!!! it was sort of plain but expensive but i think i would still want it cos it's like satisfying my Harry potter dream.... Heehee.... I HAVE MY WANDDDD~~~~

Anyway, today, only three of us went out for lunch and movie, Lydia, Emily and I. But we had a fun time window-shopping and eating together. Sigh... time really passes very quickly..... Heehee, Emily's afraid of heights so she didnt dare to move at all....

We went from Taka to Paragon for lunch then to Cine for a movie and then a long walk from 313 to orchard central to centrepoint and ended up at somerset Mrt to say byebye... It was like the longest walk i've taken i think.... I havent really walked down the whole of Orchard road like today....
Some more, we went 313 to shop. BOY IS HMV COOL!!!!! IM SO GONNA GET THE HARRY POTTER CALENDAR!!!!! and i saw a super cool alarm clock, which i plan to get for my brother. Have to ask him if he wants it or not :P

After that, we went to take another ride on the escalator from level 4 all the way to level 11, stopping at level 7. Very fun ride :P

It was really a great time hanging out together like that. Rather than being in a big group, small group-hangouts are also very fun and memorable....

My cousin came back from his mini-europe tour and bought me great gifts which i missed them during my trip
